The Crowdcul project is officially coming to an end. The team gathered for one last meeting to wrap up and celebrate the project’s achievements. This final meeting was held on December 6th on the beautiful campus of the University of Agder in Kristiansand, Norway.

Since its inception, the project has made significant strides in understanding and fostering cultural and creative crowdfunding across diverse contexts. The team’s hard work and dedication have yielded an impressive legacy, including:

  • 12 articles and 5 book chapters, furthering academic and practical understanding of crowdfunding – check out the publications!
  • 47 conferences and presentations across the globe, sharing insights and findings.
  • Engagement with key stakeholders through 3 seminars held in Brazil, Bangladesh, and Kristiansand.

The seminar with stakeholders in Kristiansand took place one day before the meeting, on the 4th of December, and we took the opportunity to reflect on the meaningful contributions CrowdCul has made to the field and look forward to seeing how these insights inspire future research and practice. The seminar was arranged in partnership with CreaTeME, and they publish a excellent summary of the day on their website – check it out!
