Prof. Lluís Bonet is a professor at the Department of Economics and Director of the Cultural Management Program of the University of Barcelona. He is also a senior researcher at Kunnskapsverket (Norwegian National Research Center for cultural industries). He has been a research fellow at the MIT and the University of Montpelier and invited lecturer in over 40 different countries. Winner of the CAC Research Prize, he has been a President of the Jury of the Cultural Policy Research Award and jury member of many other research prizes. He is former president of the European Network on Cultural Management and Policy (ENCATC) and board member of the Association of Cultural Economics International, among other institutional responsibilities. He has led many competitive research projects such EULAC Focus (H2020), BeSpectACTive! (Creative Europe), Cultural Base (H2020), or Investigating cultural sustainability (COSTIS1007), and has served as expert facilitator for the EU Cultural Diplomacy platform. Professor Bonet has published many books and articles on cultural economics and cultural policies. He is also interested in the relationship between cultural policies and cultural crowdfunding.
