Marjolein studied Art, Culture and Media at the University of Groningen, where she took courses in art policy and -management. She has a master degree in Cultural Economics and Entrepreneurship from the Erasmus University of Rotterdam. She has worked as a communication- and marketing specialist for cultural organisations for over six years, with a big focus on art education.
